Personality: San is a rather quiet and secluded youth so he is often viewed as shy or anti-social, though this is far from the truth. He actually has no qualms against being around others and partaking in group activities. His silence is often seen as unsettling and thus can drive others away. Some may actually think he lacks the ability to talk but in reality he just observes the conversation and waits for the best points to add in and contribute to the conversation or discussion. When he opens up to others, his reclusiveness dwindles slightly, causing him to become more sociable in the presence of that person.

Appearance: San is a small creature, no matter how one looks at him. He stands at a mere 4'11, and possesses a slight frame, with thin almost delicate limbs. He weighs 78lbs, being rather adding a sort of weightlessness to a lot of his movements. He bears a pale complexion that makes him look as if he was constructed completely out of porcelain and effeminate facial features. His hair is a deep sonorous raven black and extremely long, falling down to brush his thighs. His eyes are delicately almond shaped and bear a light quicksilver tone, framed by his long eyelashes and resting under his thin eyebrows. All of these features give him a look of being a delicate china doll, ready to shatter at any rough handling.
His usual attire consists of black bike shorts that end just above his knees and bandages wrapping from his waist to the lower most part of his ribcage. He wears a black, sleeveless midriff shirt and black sandals. He also wears his forehead protector as a belt and fingerless mesh gloves that reach his elbows. He also wears deep black heeled sandals that cover half his calves.

Bio: San was born to his mother Chiane and his father Ryuuken. He was raised a single child, as the strain of bearing and birthing a child nearly ended her life. San also experienced a weakened immune system, making him a very sickly child. Because of this, he was often kept indoors in order to lessen the chance of infection. He spent most of his life with little to no connection with other children, and that saddened him. He wanted to get out and run and play, but he never could.

San grew and grew, and his bouts of sicknesses lessened in number. When they were down to none in more than a year, he asked his mother if he could attend the Ninja Academy. Up until that point, he had been taught by the best tutors and home teachers his parents could afford, and they could afford the best. His mother accepted, thinking it was as good a time as any to let him meet others. His father accepted as well, though rather grudgingly at first.

Upon his first day at the academy, San realized he didn't know how to talk to other kids. He knew how to address his parents and teachers, but his generation was an absolute mystery to him. So he sat alone most of the time, trying to figure out how to go about socializing. After classes, a group of boys cornered him. They said they would teach him a lesson for thinking he was better than anyone else in the class, for sitting away from everyone and ignoring them. When the first boy raised his fist, San did something he had rarely done in his life: he ran. He had found out he was good at running, because he had to do it a lot. Those boys couldn't catch him, though they tried. A few times they caught him unawares but they never had him for long enough to cause more than a few bruises. As he went along the boys realized he wasn't worth the trouble. So they convinced the entire class to turn against him. He was treated as an outcast, sitting alone, training alone, isolated from everyone. Sometimes he taught this was a mistake, but he pushed through and graduated at the top of his class, though this earned him no brownie points.

As a genin he realized his passion for helping others and aspired to become a great medical-nin, one that would be recognized by all.

RP Sample: San crouched low among the dunes, aware that he could be spotted at any moment. He was blended in to the backdrop of the sands quite nicely, so he had nothing to fear in terms of someone spotting him. It was night, so the his cover was nigh absolute, anyone who saw him passing would most likely pass him, waving him off as a passing shadow or a random desert animal. That was perfect, he could move through the camp undisturbed. Absolutely perfect.

San slinked his way into the camp, past lit tents and sleeping warriors. He actually made a game of seeing how close he could get to the more populated tents without being spotted. His closest was right outside the tent flap. It was fun. At least until, a soldier stumbled from a tent while he was directly in front of the door no less. He stood stock still, hoping the soldier would think him a scared apprentice or something and not raise any alarms. That chance was slim because he had his forehead protector tied around his neck rather than its usual place at his waist. So much for wanting to represent his village. He let out a small sigh of relief as the guy fell flat on his face in the sand, obviously drunk out of his mind. That quickly put an end to his little game.

He made his way, though it was rather slow going. He slipped from shadow to shadow with ease. He made his way to the middlemost tent, the biggest one and the one he was looking for. He blood ran cold as he heard a gasp behind him. He turned and saw another boy, probably around his age, standing behind him. The boy looked terrified, as if San was all of his worst fears given life and form. San cursed quietly under his breath, though he didn't move. He waited for what the boy would do, but he had a feeling he already knew. The boy turned to run, but the raven was oh so much faster. He blurred into motion and was latched onto the other's back in an instant, his hand over the other's mouth to muffle any cries. They tumbled to the ground together, the boy putting up somewhat of a valiant fight. Even so a simple strike to his temple downed him, and the boy slept peacefully.

The raven continued on his way, slipping into the tent silently. The light was low here, the candles burning low and no one was in sight. The tent seemed completely empty. There was a table at the center of the tent, he went over and saw that it was filled with maps of the surrounding area as well as some of Suna. He found a map of the base and it's defenses, reading it thoroughly before deciding that it would be of use. He grabbed that map, as well as the one of his village and rolled them up, tucking them away into his bag. He looked towards the flap of the tent and thought about leaving, but then it occurred to him that he might want to look for guard rotation schedules and equipment catalogs. One never knew when such things might come in handy. He looked on the table for these documents, but came up with no results. He walked over to a cloth divider in the tent, moving it aside to see the back part of the tent. There was a desk at the back, only a few steps away from where he stood. But off to his right was a bed and in that bed lay a shape, it's upper portion giving off the tell-tale rise and fall of breathing. He was not alone and if he was caught, he would be in serious trouble. He moved to the desk silently, opening up all of the drawers and rifling through them. When he found the forms he needed, he closed the drawers and backed away from the desk and out of the tent. He turned and was met by two unarmed soldiers. He cursed and tucked his bag into his side, crouching low. This was not going to be pretty.
----
As he set down the papers on the desk of the receptionist at the mission's office, turning the intel in alongside his mission. He wanted to lie and say that he took on the two soldiers by himself, and the reinforcements they called to help them as well, but the simple truth was he had knocked one out by throwing a rock and escaped after tossing a smoke bomb onto the ground. He ran like hell after. It was nothing special, but he got the job done without a scratch on him. That was one thing a few people couldn't really say about their missions. Especially if they had failed. San was proud of himself, no matter what.
